My story Bloodsuckers examines vampires as blood libels.
The blood libels had been why my family had left Transylvania. Why we’d run to the United States. Stoker wrote Dracula and the secret was out: vampires were real. Around. Vampires made their way into society. Sure, most Christian fanatics hated them, called for their burning. There were the great vamp hunts. But the humans who accepted them, the ones who revered them, had heard what my family had done. Meyer, Schultz, and Katz. Five members from our three families had killed twenty-seven vampires in one night, with one angrily thrown Molotov cocktail and a tinderbox house.

some comics should just stay comics. we don't need a live action adaptation of everything. we need to be free. take my hand. I'll show you
people are so obsessed with adaptations that they dont understand the essential idea - or component - of these stories. that the best ones work because of the medium itself. you can't translate it into another medium and expect it to work the same way because it wont.

Babes are fuckin THE qpr power couple for idiots. gray is the prince of the local country and his bestie/qpr partner alic is a local fantasy jock celebrity and they've been close since they were kids. their love language is taking "would you jump off a cliff if they told you to" from metaphorical to literal to hardcore metaphorical as in following each other into death in order to bring them back to life kicking and screaming even if that means not knowing if they themselves are going to be able to follow them back to life. anyway i wuv them and i think that should be enough
